Off to the Hebrides!

Walked down Jacob's Ladder into the town this morning to see the 'Hebridean Princess' tied up at the lighthouse pier. Oddly she wasn't due to be off on a trip until April according to their cruise calendar, but a Google search revealed that she's off today via Fort William to Mull, Colonsay, Coll, back to Mull and Oban - seven nights on the high seas. A couple of years ago I travelled aboard as a lecturer - I'm still hoping to be asked back!

As I walked across the Shell garage forecourt later on I spotted this Lotus about to leave with a trio of travellers aboard and asked if I could take their picture. Not the easiest shot as they were in shade and the outside world in sunshine, so I had to crop it down. The dog seemed quite unfazed by it all - but why wasn't he wearing a helmet, I wondered!! It made a different extra, I thought!
