Permanent Residents

Almost exactly three years after becoming temporary residents of Mexico, today we received our official "Residente Permanente" cards after taking what should be our final trip to the local immigration office. This process was similar to when we applied for our temporary residence cards with the exception that we had moved two years ago without informing the Mexican government. That oversight caused a week's delay and cost an additional 1,500 pesos each in fines. A small inconvenience in order to acquire these coveted cards.

I also finished processing the photos from my SOB Volleyball adventure, which means I should now have time once again for regular commenting and responding.
