Mom and Aunt Betty

Long time friends. Lots of stories retold today. :)

We had a lovely day in Capitola with Aunt Betty, Cookie, Michelle and her three boys Jack, Henry and Sam.
We met in Gale's bakery and had lunch there. I think we were there for the best part of 2 hrs then we headed down to the beach. There was a lot of wood washed ashore. The beach was covered! Even large tree trunks had been washed up!
The boys enjoyed building a fort while we sat in the sun and chatted another couple of hours.
Ice cream was the order to round up our visit. We sat there chatting for a good 30/40 mins.
It was sad to say goodbye. I wish we lived close.
On the way home we stopped in at Montery to avoid some traffic and to look for a couple of presents.
We finally got home at 9pm!
Relaxed and caught up with Doug and Jensen.
Now bed. :)
