The River Mimram

I went for a lovely walk at Panshanger Park this afternoon. Dogs love to paddle in the chalk stream that is the river Mimram but it is banned for the sake of the wildlife that the river supports. I suppose women are banned too? :) A bit of a photographic departure for me, my image of the river weed and reflections has taken on an abstract quality. I've added a pic to extras of a blue tit stripping a bulrush seed head of the fluffy seeds so that it could get to insects inside.
