A TREE THAT CAUGHT MY EYE

A splendid day weatherwise. Sunny, warm and no wind.
I was first a bit busy in the garden, that sat on the balcony reading till lunch.
After lunch Piet Hein had a plan for our walk. Drive to Gründefeld, walk from there.
After we had walked our path uphill for a while, I thought that I was clothed much to warm. Still with a maillot, and a thick coat,
Our path was sometimes muddy, it had rained all night, and walking is then not comfortable. However, when we reached the top of the Hölleberg, we enjoyed the fantastic views, and could rest on the bench that is so well situated there.
Two humans with four dogs appeared and all these dogs were interested in us and came to say hello.
We followed our path till the end and from there another path slowly descended the hill. From far we heard the sheep bleating, the shepherd stood quietly near the bushes and the dog ran around the big flock.
We could not come near them, our path went still higher up the slope.
It has been a long walk, we came rather late home. At the end of our walk I saw this lone tree, balming in the sunlight. And now it is my blip for today,

My haiku:

Shsssssssstttt the wind
Around the tree and the leaves
Whisper the echo

And the proverb:

To whistle for a wind (or breeze).

1834  Marryat, Jacob Faith.
