Today our patio renovation  grew nearer to completion as the pavers were sealed, ready for the joints to be filled on Monday.  the fine white dust from cutting them has got everywhere and some plants look as though it has snowed on them: a rainstorm wouldn't go amiss at the moment. Prior to sealing, the pavers had to be washed a number of times to get rid of the dust.  I did take a couple of pictures of the three burly builders on hands and knees with bucket and rags, cleaning away and was sorely tempted for today's blip...
In the end I resisted,  and went for some rose heads that I've dried.  Now that the dining room is finished I have back my lovely well lit area that is so good for taking pictures: I'm so pleased about that!

In other news, today was April Fool's Day, with the usual number of pranks  being played, although Google's prank rather backfired on them and had to be withdrawn. In China, April Fool's Day has actually been banned as being contrary to their cultural traditions. Sadly, Donald Trump saying that he had dropped out of the presidential race also turned out to be a prank.
