Abstract Thursday 40 Eggstravaganza

Today's creation consists of foil wrappers from the numerous chocolate eggs that we have consumed (hence the witty title!) a casserole dish, cling film and water droplets.  The resulting shots were given a polar opposites effect in PS and the colour was tweaked a little.  I do think that the final effect looks rather like jewels or crystal droplets.

In other news: poor Zeus09smum was badly shaken after a fall tripping over  Zeus' legs this morning.  A very painful fractured ankle was the result and she will need quite a  time resting it, with no weight bearing for at least a  fortnight.  She is now wearing one of those plastic boots to provide support and has crutches: not much fun at all I'm afraid.

Today we learned of the passing of 2 famous people:
Ronnie Corbett, stand-up comedian, actor, writer, broadcaster, has died aged 85.

Zaha Hadid, an Iraqi- British architect has died aged 65. Amongst the many buildings that she has designed is the London 2012 aquatics centre, where my son swam the other week.
