Spring is in the air

There was no forest walk today of course as Zeus09sMum is in no fit state for such things yet, so I took the opportunity this morning to catch up on The Archers omnibus edition, whilst sorting and clearing our utility room.  I don't want to be guilty of giving out any spoilers but today's episodes, especially the one this evening, have been shocking to say the least...
Mr MC has occupied himself by doing some external painting, needed where the builders have been working, and quite a lot of gardening too.  The quality of all his work was carefully inspected by Lilly and Peggy Sue, who both love to join us outside, while Tinkerbell remained indoors sleeping.
My picture today is of Peggy Sue sniffing the air appreciatively after checking that I'd hung out the washing in a satisfactory manner!
