I could really have done with taking yesterday's shot today(!)  I freely admit I have really struggled with the subject of today's Mono Monday Challenge as set by davids.  In the end I've chosen a musical solution, although it is based upon the very dark and disturbing "Idiot Prayer" by Nick Cave.   You can find the other entries here.
