Downy woodpecker

Yay for a full day of sunshine and blue skies. Even though it was pretty cold all day, it was still a good day for a trail walk. For some reason, I haven't been seeing many downy woodpeckers recently, so I was happy that this fellow was willing to pose for the camera. I also (finally) saw another eastern bluebird.
