70,000 BOOKS

This is Mr HCB in his element, and oblivious to all around him,  at Westwood Books in Sedbergh, an old cinema converted into a huge bookshop, in fact, the largest bookshop in the Yorkshire Dales.

He had obviously come prepared with his list of books and I think bought practically the whole Channel Islands stock of 10 books - so he's happy!  He is now sitting with his nose in one of the books, so I guess he won't be chatting much this evening!
