Cherwell: Back To Birds

Clearer view of the bird's eye in large.

I was pleased with today's macro photos (see below), but couldn't resist this curious mallard. Today marks the end of my first week back in the Animal Flight Group (it was a short week, and rather slow...), and it feels exciting to have turned my (academic) attention back to birds.
