Just when I thought all the rugby was finished, Swannie spent the afternoon watching the Melrose Sevens on the telly. The actual competition is held less than two miles from the house but it was cheeper, warmer, and we had a better view in the living room.

Before the rugby strarted, she went away to fill the car with petrol and on the way home, stopped at Gunknowe Loch to take some pictures. The sun was shining, as it usually does on Melrose Sevens day, and there was plenty of activity with swans, ducks, and gulls. We decided we liked this swan shot best.
