Lakeside View

A warm sunny start to the day, the wind getting up and now it is blowing quite strongly.

We did not go for coffee this morning as we had seen our friends yesterday.   So we set out for a walk into the Nature Park.

We went towards the Hipica (Riding Stables) round the side of there and up a pathway in the cliff face which leads onto the top road towards Roquetas.   The blip shows the first of the  salt lakes in the Nature Park, there are several along the route to Roquetas.   The extra shows the Flamingoes which are here all year round.   Not close enough really but I do like them.

We were walking through brush and wild flowers, the curry plants all in flower and smelling glorious.   We walked back along the path on the top road and called in at the Q8 service area for a coffee and then headed home.

We plan in two weeks to go round back of the Lake as far as we can - not quite sure how far it goes.
