Changing

This male American Goldfinch is changing to his bright yellow breeding plumage.  We had several visiting our feeder this afternoon during a brief time of sunshine but I didn't get a good shot of all of them together.  Now the dark clouds have closed in and it will be raining soon is raining now and it's supposed to rain (not snow!) through the night and tomorrow morning.

Thank you to everyone who left stars for my Osprey yesterday and on my past blips too!  Today was very productive and I can see a dim light at the end of the tunnel.  :-)
