A pie and a pint

I have taken two photos today, this is one of them.

We have travelled up to Cumbria. We had booked a meal at the nearest pub (waitress service, so not quite a pub).I have not had Shepherd's Pie in a long time, and it was excellent. All beers are brewed on the premises. Mine was excellent.

It is only when we travel to a rural area like this that we appreciate what we are missing in terms of being able to see the constellations on a dark but starry night. It's a kind of heaven.
