Mark's Choice

My kind of day - a brisk morning walk then a few hours in the garden!  There were some sprinkles of rain but nothing that prevented me from being outside.   Managed to plant some lettuce, leek and radicchio starters then seeds:  lettuce, mesclun mix, arugula and carrots.  It's been years since I planted potatoes and there isn't room in our little garden for them, so when I saw this reusable planter, I decided to give it a try.  We'll see!  Beans, beets, tomatoes, cukes and zucchini will be planted in a couple of weeks once it isn't so cool at night.  G is busy gathering debris for the burn pile, so there's a bonfire happening sometime next week.    I love this time of year!
