Marksburg & Rudesheim

The main blip picture is of the captain manouvering the ship with Marksburg Castle on the hill in the background, of which we'd just done a tour.

Later in the afternoon we docked at Rudesheim until midnight. The extra blip picture is of the Parish Church at Assmannshausen, which is taken from our cabin. It was built over a period of several decades during the 14th century, this church was first mentioned in record books in the year 1325.  A lovely view.

 After the evening meal we walked into Rudehseim town and had a couple of pints in a german bar where Mrs BB was up dancing with some locals. The toilets were very unusual and I took a few pictures of the tiles. A lovely evening where I drank from a glass boot which Mrs BB bought as a souvenir.
