Sunrise over Mt John & Lake Tekapo

After an unexpectedly long night's sleep thanks to cloudy skies over the mountain, I woke just before sunrise. The sky looked partly clear, so I headed up to the crags on the summit to take in the golden glow.

My blip today is dedicated to the memory of a dear friend. Up there on the peaceful mountain summit, I reflected on her premature passing and amazing spirit. C, this is for you, xxx
