a lifetime burning

Narcissus

It has been a glorious Spring day. The sun has been shining and the garden has looked glorious. You can see things starting to move on a pace now.

We've had a wonderful show from the daffodils this year, possibly the best every, and here for you is what must surely be my last daffodil shot of the year.  These white narcissus with their small golden crown are amongst my favourites.

After a morning's session on the guitars, my friend Mark left to return to Congleton, and Cathy and I set to with the weekend's chores.  Nothing particularly exciting happened, but sometimes it is just nice to relax at home and get things done: bread making, laundry, ironing, cleaning bicycles and cycling kit etc.  In other words, a nice peaceful quiet Sunday.
