Trouble at t'mill

We went to Skidby Mill this morning for a coffee and look around. We had a nice walk along the nearby fields and visited the mill. Unfortunately the mill was not working at the moment so we couldn't buy any flour.

Then onto Beverley for a light lunch and explore.  Beverley is a very attractive market town with a lovely minster (see extra).  The photo of the Minster is taken from Beverley Pastures a large area of common land which also includes a golf course, a race course and two windmills.  We parked there and walked into town.

This evening we're off to see my sister who lives in Cottingham and a meal at one of the local hostelries.

Late News: just returned from the Bluebell Inn, excellent food, highly recommended.
