VIEW FROM THE OHMSBERG

hNot exactly from the highest point, but when we had come around this hill.
We had driven to Deissel, parked near the church (eg door was open and we went inside for a moment) and from there walked the Florbachroad. A lovely romantic path, not too steep, but we did climb all the way till we were at the foot of the Deisselberg, There we lied down in the grass. The weather warm, the wind if we felt it was warm too.
We gasped at the promise of the amazing amount of yellow rape fields around us. In due time the whole landscape will be transformed colourwise.

My haiku:

See for yourself now
Spring colours are everywhere
Near and far away

And the proverb:

As yellow as the golden noble.

1587  Harrison, Descr. of England
