Fern

This morning I finally slept until I woke up on my own--first time in a week-- so I was feeling pretty rested! I made a cup of coffee, picked up the camera, & went outside to stroll down to the river where there are chairs set up for guests. While I sat there I saw 2 turtles on the bank near the edge of the water that were sunning themselves, 2 ducks out on the water, and a small snake swimming by. (Yuck on the snake part!) I strolled around the yard and took some flower pictures, along with this one of a fern, whose shapes and swirls really appealed to me. After breakfast we headed over to spend the day with our daughter and granddaughter--nothing better than that!! :)
