Shakespeare 400

A very busy day having a great time in Bournemouth.  I am here for a weekend organised by the RPS but have spent the day with a long time friend who lives close by - we haven't managed to meet up for more years that we care to remember! It's very true that, with good friends, you just pick up where you left off and carry on!  We had quite a lot of catching up to do which we managed through the day. It must not be so long before we see each other again!!

Sally is a fantastic photographer and also a Nikon user.  We spent the day round the Russell-Cotes Museum - a wonderful Victorian house and a treasure trove of photogenic items which, like Blipmeets, included lunch. I took many photographs but became rather obsessed with the hands of the many sculptures and have chosen one as today's blip - as April 23rd 2016 is a very special celebration of 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare; Hildasrose has set a challenge of creating something to represent one of the plays and I dare not disobey!

No time for a blip earlier with a couple of evening RPS sessions plus dinner so I am keeping my eyelids open with the proverbial matchsticks to get this done.  Tomorrow is another day of out and about taking photos before our last evening session.
