Obligatory Copenhagen

In the centre of Copenhagen is a round tower from which the views of the city are an obvious blip.  We were surprised to find the tower not a stairway but a continuous helical floor (see extra) - apparently so the king (?) could ride up it on his horse; as you, well, kings, do.

Cool but dry day and we just wandered semi-aimlessly around the city interspersed with a boat tour (which was a bit overly cool and not entirely dry).  Having no agenda was very much part of the plan for these three days. 

Met up with J & M again in the evening; this time for a pizza at Mother - a most unpromising looking location and building, but excellent food.
