...among the stalks of the Red Yucca.  She was nipping at the tasty flower petals as a quick breakfast.  (This a female Hooded Oriole - the first one I have ever caught!)

I'll likely be going to stay with mom for another few days.  My sister-in-law will be heading back home today.  Mom really can't be left alone for very much longer.  Sadly, I'm going to have to begin looking for alternate arrangements for her.
