Flight Shot

Picking up bugs from the newly watered croquet lawn bang in front of our window this morning - what a coup for me to be just having my morning tea with the camera. 

Just loved seeing this red-shouldered hawk so close up hunting! He was perching on the palm trees then coming in to pounce though sometimes sitting on the croquet hoops for an overview. Such an attractive bird with the bands of colour on his wings and chest that this had to be my blip today.

An afternoon at Cedar Key and then rain came in!
