Third ride in thirty years

Got away from work a little earlier than recently and was home in time to have a cycle ride before dark. Only my third ride since buying the bike. I'm getting a little more confident and steady. But I will still confine myself to cycleways and footpaths.

This self portrait was taken on the slope downwards from the Nelson Street Cycleway to its end/beginning at Canada Street. Behind me, the cycleway sweeps up and across the motorway.
