Lupin

I bought this Lupin during the week for its flowers and their attraction to bees and butterflies. I didn't realise how lovely the leaves are, particularly the new growth. This was taken in bright sunshine with the OM 50mm lens and an extension tube. It is almost SOOC apart from a little enhancement. I was intrigued to see on the computer that dull brown earth underneath has come up blue even though the white balance was set to sunshine. It would be an interesting exercise to photograph it again and set the white balance manually (even though I love how this turned out). This ties in nicely with this week's project for #A Year With My Camera
