Mayday

A very quiet Sunday - I'm pleased about that because I'm on call until 6 tomorrow morning.

May the 1st is a holiday here but because it's on a Sunday, that means no day off.  It's just the way it is.

The forecast rotten weather failed to materialise and we've had to put up with sun instead.  I can cope.

There will be a few days Blip silence from me as I'm off to a conference for the next three days.  It's another new city (Würzburg) for me to have a nose around.  Let's see how I get on with the dialect there...  Here's hoping it's not all Oachkatzlnschwoaf and Dahoam. I think the first is "squirrel's tail" in Boarisch -the dialect of Bayern. 

And yes, I do know that Würzburg is more Franken than Bayern.
