Deep Yellow: Smoke in the Water

Finally got fed up enough with the state of the car and the algae growth on the house to get the pressure washer out of the garage.

Seemed to work fine, albeit sounding a bit rough and perhaps a tinge of smoulder in the air.  Then there was quite a lot of smoke in the air too.  It was still running mind you.  

Briefly considered dousing the smoke with the water jet but guessed that wouldn't help much.

There has to be something wrong when the price of a replacement motor is twice that of a new pressure washer.
