Cuckoo Flowers

Last year when I had my eyes tested they said I had the beginnings of cataracts and that I needed to go back to have them checked in one year, rather than two, so today we went to Specsavers. My eyes have changed considerably although the cataracts have not developed. I did need a different prescription to optimise my vision and have chosen exactly the same frames and tints as before.
   
I did not take any pictures while I was out, but a trip round the garden revealed these Cuckoo flowers, growing in the grass.

It has been warm and sunny today and I suspect there will be a frost in the morning.
