Gardening

As it was a bright and sunny morning I was able to do some of my planned activities. I wanted to plant eighteen new Dahlia tubers in two of our borders and although it was frosty again this morning I think the frosts will have disappeared before they emerge from the ground. I also did a little more preparation in our small, fruit, vegetable and herb garden. I still have some Lavender plants to put into our largest border, but that border needs a little more attention before they can be panted. This afternoon I have been catching up with emails and paperwork.

This picture was taken before my husband cut the grass this afternoon and shows Florence, helping hindering in the garden. Where was Dougal? He spent the morning lazing in the sun and rolling in fox poo!
