Swinging in the sunshine

The sun is shining, it's warm and for the first time for months, there was no rain at Bantry market. It was heaving! The world and his wife were out browsing and it was all happening in the square: the old boy who sells cassette and CDs of Irish music was going strong to the east, in the centre was a South American pan piper (still not totally convinced that he's actually playing) and to the west a swing group were letting rip! Here they are with an admiring crowd. They were very good, very relaxed and good fun to watch whilst munching on a goat's cheese and spinach galette.

I bought tons of plants and have been working in the garden all afternoon. Lovely.

And a  new blog, two fascinating wells in my unbiased opinion. It's actually St Inghne Bhuidhe's feast day today! Happy weekend everyone.

should you feel like dancing
