SLEEPING CAT - IN A BOX

Cats Sleep Anywhere

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open draw, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

Here is Tino sleeping in a box which is rather too small for him.  A box which lives on the dining room table.  Next to it is another box which is also used as a cat bed.  Apart from these 2 boxes there are many other places around the house where you are likely to find a sleeping cat.  You never know where they will choose for a nap.

Bit of an emergency cat blip today I couldn't think of anything else to post.

I walked down to the village at around 1pm to get a bit of shopping.  Neil phoned to say he was coming to my house after he finished work so I arranged to meet him in the village when he got off the bus so I could give him the key to the new door so he could get in.

At 3pm I started ironing and listening to the match on the radio.  Newcastle United were playing at Aston Villa  - who are already relegated. Newcastle really needed to get 3 points today.  The game ended in a draw.  Newcastle didn't even seem to be trying hard to win. This result is not good enough to save them from relegation I fear.  Sunderland did really well today and beat Chelsea 3 - 2. They are now out of the relegation zone and Newcastle are back in it.  Not what Newcastle fans were hoping for.  Well done to Middlesbrough who will be moving up to the Premiership next season.  Not forgetting Leicester who have won the Premiership title.

Apart from the ironing I have done a load of washing - mostly Neil's stuff - and made a beef casserole.

The weather today was dull and chilly - a bit of a change from the last few days.
