The New Green

After a winter of looking at bare twigs the view changes in a subtle way and every twig is tinged with green.
The last four days of first warm, and then hot, weather have pushed the spring along at a rapid rate. Today it was so warm I had to retreat indoors after two hours of working out in the sun. Even now, at 11 o’clock at night it’s 15°C outside and 24°C inside.
It feels so good that this weather coincided perfectly with the long weekend, so it was enjoyed by so many people.
