It's that time again!

Every year around my birthday the beautiful Duke of Burgundy butterflies Hamearis lucina, can be found flying in a tiny meadow high above Storrington. Today, bang on time  they were there, only males at the moment squabbling with the equally territorial Dingy skippers for the best look out post, lest a female should suddenly come their way!
I chose this shot, as I love the way he has his back pair of legs crossed!
