Cousins

Aruna and Ben, in the Coffee Denn cafe. I took no pictures - at all - today but couldn't have a gap in my journal especially on holiday. Steve took this of Ben and one of his cousins giggling!

Better night last night, an hour's extra sleep this morning, knowing where everything was in the kitchen, and not worrying too much about the boys making a tonne of noise because they wanted breakfast - much less stressful morning!

PLUS we had berries this morning. I declare if Charley grows up only eating this same thing for breakfast every day it could be much worse than porridge with berries and toast and jam. I hope he enjoys it for a good long time. I'm loving having an excuse to keep berries in stock.

My legs are killing me now! We have been into Oystermouth today, we caught the bus so that we didn't have to deal with parking or with carseats. Unfortunately that meant a quickmarch up the hill from Caswell Bay to Newton to catch the bus, and it was quite a hill.

Had a lovely wander around Mumbles, in and out all the shops, stopping in various cafés, bought some bits from a charity shop in the end (including a pair of orange rocketdogs plimsols for £6 - winner!), and eventually caught the bus back to the chalet late afternoon.

Tea was at Chris and Therese's chalet, burgers and cinnamon rolls - but Ben and Charley got so grumpy that we had to take them home. Supposedly to bed, but once back in the calm of our chalet they both perked up! Steve went and collected dinner for us, and we had a calm evening on our own. We'd said goodbye to Matt and Sue, they went home to London by train in the evening.

We have no connectivity here. Not even for text messaging or calls, let alone for internet. Am getting twitchy already.
