A Dove & a delivery

The day started off wet & miserable ...... but by lunchtime the sun remembered how to poke its way through the clouds!

We were expecting delivery of our new fridge/freezer after 2pm ......... but at 1.20pm ..... as I was in the middle of washing my hair ..... knock on the door ..... they were early!

Mad dash round to move furniture so that they could take the old one out & bring in the new ........ found quite a lot of cobwebs so we had to have quite a clean up .... as well as get all the food back in! I did finally manage to rinse the shampoo off & get my hair dried!

It's very posh ..... it has a temperature display & an alarm that sounds if you leave the door open for more than 60 seconds ....... it's a bit like something out of science fiction .... well compared to our old model anyway! Just hope this lasts as long ...... the old one had performed beautifully for almost 18 years! :-)
