Lots of lepidoptera

A short walk this morning seemed to be accompanied by an explosion of butterflies and moths in the warm, humid conditions. The Small Copper. featured here, was my first for the year. Equally pleasing was the Wavy-barred Sable moth, shown in extra photos. A group of more than 8 of these day-flying moths were cavorting around, making photography very difficult.
