Meet the Parents!

This is the first time I've managed to get both Great Tits in a photo so it has to be the blip today. It's taken through the kitchen window again so not great quality. I'm full of cold and feeling sorry for myself so I'm blipping early and going to veg for the rest of the day.

I read a wonderful article last night on the BTO site about Blue Tits. Each
chick can eat 100 caterpillars a day, so adults need to find as many as 1000 caterpillars a day for a brood of 10! No wonder our birds are visiting so often!!
