An ordinary life....

Handmade with love...

For me by this lovely lady and perfect, I thought, for this week's Flower Friday challenge with a "from the kitchen" twist.  (Thanks for hosting  BikerBear :) She also gifted me the miniature vase milk bottles and holder.  How lucky am I? :))

After my amateur attempts to re-bandage Alan's finger yesterday, we thought it best to contact the clinic at the hospital to see if they could possibly see him today (the local nurse admitted she didn't have the right dressings in stock so Dundee seemed the best option).

Thankfully when David phoned he spoke to the nurse they saw last week and although the clinic was full, she said she would squeeze him in so poor Alan was up, showered, dressed and straight into the car heading for Dundee before he'd even registered what day it was.

They returned just after midday, all re-bandaged and looking good and an appointment to go back next Friday.  She thinks another couple of weeks and the dressing should be off.

Ele came for lunch so we had a lovely catch up over Italian meats, cheese, salad and homemade mackerel pate.

Sliding into dinner time now and a (hopefully) relaxing evening ahead although I must send an email to a friend down south who turns 50 this weekend.  Can't miss this chance to tease congratulate him :))

Have a great weekend Peeps xx
