Oxford Canal: Footbridge & Heron

More welcome a photobomber in large.

I was framing up my picture of the footbridge over the Isis Lock when this heron appeared; it, alas, went over the bridge rather than under it, but it still seemed pretty opportune. I also saw a common tern as I crossed the bridge, but was too busy photographing the shadows to get a decent shot.

It was a bright morning, so I had fun photographing reflections and shadows, and was torn between the shot above and one of the Blavatnik School of Government. My other shots are right from that picture.
