Coming in to land at Charles de Gaulle

Sunday
Returning back home after almost three weeks away - almost two weeks visiting our youngest daughter, Laura, in Romania, then a week visiting family in England, all of it accompanied by our eldest daughter, Jen. It was a somewhat complicated morning, since Jen was returning to Salt Lake City from Manchester, and we were returning to Paris from Liverpool, and Janet and John needed to get to church. So John took Jen to Manchester airport, since she had the earlier flight, while Janet dropped us off early for our our Easy Jet flight at Liverpool, just getting back to church for the beginning of the service! Since we were early for our flight we had a wonderful check-in - just two people ahead of us at check--in, and no-one ahead of us at security! We bought a coffee, and found a seat by a window, and sat and read whilst waiting for our flight.
When we retrieved our car, which had been parked at off-site parking it was filthy, so we treated it to a car wash on the way home, and picked up some milk and a few things for dinner from our little convenient store in Héricy. Back at home, the grass and weeds had grown abundantly in our absence, not really surprising after three weeks away at this time of year!
