New growth

Monday
When Roger had booked our flights for our trip to Romania and England, he had overlooked the fact that today was a holiday in France - we could have had an extra day in England, and it would have made yesterday morning a bit simpler! Still, given the state of the grass on our return, it was just as well he had today to cut the grass and neaten things up outside! However, our village has strict hours on when you can cut your grass - only between 10 am and noon on Sundays or holidays, and we have a neighbour who will not hesitate to let us know if we go over those hours! So while Roger was busy in the garden, I popped out to the supermarket to pick up some things, then started cleaning the patio table and chairs, which I had never got round to cleaning after the winter, and they were quite filthy. This afternoon we got out for a walk in the forest - unfortunately the sunny morning had given way to clouds, but at least it stayed dry! I didn't take many photographs, but I liked this new growth on the pine tree and the young pine cone.
