At the Park

It's been a busy day.
Mr K took the Little Misses to swimming early and then I met them at Harris + Hoole to take Miss E to a birthday party.
It was at a recording studio in Milton Keynes where they recorded a couple of songs onto a CD. Bear Necessities which was quite good and Loveshack which was bloody awful less successful as none of them seemed to know the words. Or the tune. Or how to sing!!! Ha ha ha!
After the party we came home for a bit before heading out to look at a house. Our house in Bicester is sold STC - which is quite exciting but tempered by the fact that we've given it away and won't really have enough left over for a deposit.
And when I say won't really have enough I actually mean definitely won't have anything left over for a deposit. Which is annoying.
But never mind, the albatross will be gone and we can save up!
And we're in limbo at the moment waiting for their mortgage survey.
If it gets turned down again we'll be putting it up for auction so look out for us on Homes Under the Hammer!
The house we went to look at was lovely. A period cottage beautifully renovated. But it has death-trap stairs - the steep staircase starts right at the threshold of what would be Miss L's room. No landing!!
When we got home we roller skated, cycled and walked up to the park and had an hour in the sun. They had fun climbing, swinging, sliding down poles and being unusually willing models! (See extras). Mr K and I basked in the sun for a bit. Discussing mortgages and deposits and other fun stuff.
We packed the Little Misses off to bed early for their sleepover and then settled down for the Eurovision Song Contest. Loving the new voting system.
Although as usual I got cross about the UK getting no votes. Why do we bother?!!!!!
