Double Daffodil

I have often said that I am not keen on the large Daffodils much preferring the miniature varieties.  However we do have some of these growing in a container on the patio.

I think they have gone against my normal preferences for a few reasons.  Firstly they don't look like a Daffodil owing to their double nature.  The second they don't look like Daffodils as there is no yellow (the pink isn't a freak of processing).  Finally they flower (well they do for us) after the "normal" large ones which you get in serried ranks at the entrance to villages at this time of the year.  Daffodils were never meant to be grown like that - scattered under trees ala Wordsworth is where they look best.
