Pompom Tree

Today we had an away day at work.  We spent the morning at a lovely venue with our development adviser undertaking a variety of tasks.  We had access to a rooftop garden which was amazing, and even though the breeze was rather chilly and the sun kept disappearing, it was a great novelty to be able to go and sit outside to do some of the group work. After a rather late and rushed lunch we headed off to take part in a team building activity.  We went to Escape – where teams have one hour to escape from a locked room by solving a number of clues.  It was great fun and we did it!  Next stop was the pub for a welcome gin and tonic! 

I didn’t have much time for the pub though, as a friend  I were attending a fundraising workshop for PTAs.  It was really helpful and has given us much to think about.  We will now need to sit down and plan our next steps.

As I arrived at our workshop venue I was met by some yarn bombing.  I liked the colourful  pompom decorations on this tree.
