Grand old fellow

I had a good day, today. Firstly, the Minx set about mowing the back garden using the new lawn mower, while I ran up to the garden waste bit every few minutes with another load of cuttings. Then I did the radio show before taking Dan and Abi swimming. (Which, in reality, means they horse around in the pool and lounge about in the jacuzzi while I swim up and down doing lengths.)

Apart from that burst of activity, it was a pretty lazy afternoon; we all agreed that there was nothing that actually needed doing, so we hung out until we lit the barbecue.

I took this photo when I popped to Booths to grab some lunch before we went for our swim. This grand old fellow was sat in the corner of the car park.
