Eromophila maculata

This is the most common form of of Eromophila. Also known as spotted emu bush.  The spots are inside the flower, but I was taken with the elegance of the long bloom which has such rich dark stigma on the tips of its pink stamen. The blue green of the foliage seems to set the colours off beautifully. It is quite a tiny flower, being only about 2.5cm in length.
After my "high" of yesterday I struggled for a Blip today.  We rode our bikes through the bush and I took photos of kookaburras, galahs and sulphur crested cockatoos, but none we're good enough to Blip. So, it was back to the garden outside my door!
